Reluctantly,  I have to admit that I am not person really keen to playing mobile game apps.  However, within the first minutes playing mobile game app, Super Tank Blast: Block Attack, I immediately remembered the past arcade days when I spent countless hours at the neighborhood community center playing Asteroidsand Centipede.

I initially thought it virtually impossible for a touchscreen to mimic the trackball action that these two brilliant and very popular arcade games possessed.  But, I was sadly mistaken… Why?  I’ll give four keyword reasons: touchscreen with virtual trackball action, along with a virtual button to fire artillery at the enemy!  A quality shoot em’ up.

[Author’s Notes/Concerns:]

  • There seems to be a slight delay in the firing response of Joystick. Most likely due to WiFi strength, speed, signal, and device memory.  But the delay did not detract me from playing.
  • Tank mobility is fluid and precise.
  • Recommend $1.99 upgrade to eliminate distracting ads.

[Final Thought(s):]

Great game to play while waiting for a ride or bus.

OR in a long line at the grocery store.

OR getting a tires changed.
