Calnovo Create’s Time in 2021: A Pektemek App Review

[First Thought(s):]

Calnovo is downloadable on desktop and mobile.  A chrome extension is also available.  This new productivity app seems fairly simple, maybe too simple.  It creates time by utilizing activities centered around the user’s typical work day and standard time zone locale.  This data is entered manually into the required fields.

After data is entered, calnovo prompts the user to “create time” with button push and then asks to choose the level of productivity desired, from low to high or 0 thru 10.  However, this is the point where I became a bit confused.  Are we not supposed to be productive in general at work and outside of work, devoid of sleep, break, and freetime?  Indeed, I’m not a programmer.  Nevertheless, if productivity is a component of some algorithm in this case scenario, then it should be hidden.

Next, I found it difficult to decipher the true meaning of the some of the task commands on the buttons, like [?] and [brb]  or their intended purpose, except through a system of trial and error.  No glossary of terms. No how-to information or demo version.

Lost interest quickly.

     [Final Thought(s):]

Calnovo has promise, but this productivity app falls very short compared to it’s competitors, like Timeular.
